Arable Scotland is delighted to announce its new initiative, ‘Arable Futures’.
Arable Futures will share insights, challenges and aspirations for the future of Scottish arable farming.
Arable Scotland is Scotland’s premier field event in the arable sector, showcasing the latest research and farming innovations to farmers and arable sector stakeholders. Over the past three years, since returning to field events after the COVID19 pandemic, Arable Scotland has been developed and evolved to attract a wider and larger audience.
A successful event in 2024 has inspired the Arable Scotland team to test new ideas for the 2025 event, with a theme of ‘Building resilience through collaboration’. Keep an eye out for more information being shared.

In the last 30 years, there has been a massive shift in understanding the links between farming and the environment. It has also become abundantly clear over this period that there are significant challenges, which not only have a consequence in terms of environmental decline, but which are now placing a direct threat over farming systems and the commercial operation of farming businesses.
